Brainlabs Buys Social Media Influencer Agency Fanbytes

Digital marketing agency Brainlabs has acquired social media influencer marketing agency Fanbytes, for an undisclosed sum.

Daniel GilbertThe UK-based 60-strong business was launched in 2017 by its CEO Timothy Armoo, COO Ambrose Cooke and CTO Mitchell Fasanya. Fanbytes offers clients access to Bytesights, a data set of more than three million influencers, enabling brands to monitor growth, predict trends and pinpoint conversations around their products, competitors and sectors.

The three founders will take up new roles at Brainlabs, with Armoo now VP of Influencer, Cooke VP of Influencer Integration and Fasanya VP of Influencer Technology. Fanbytes will lead and shape Brainlabs' influencer offering, bringing its expertise to US, LATAM and APAC regions where Brainlabs already has offices. The news follows Brainlabs' recent acquisition of India-based data services specialist Nabler.
