TransPerfect Opens Contact Center in El Paso

New York-based language and tech solutions provider TransPerfect has opened a contact center in El Paso, Texas, which will act as the hub for the firm's Connect division.

TransPerfect has offices in over 100 cities, and offers a range of services in more than 170 languages. In 2019, the company acquired a minority stake in market research sector language specialist G3 Translate, whose offering includes translation, interpretation and cultural consulting, and more recently, TransPerfect moved its Manchester, UK office to a larger facility. The Connect unit's services include over-the-phone interpretation and business process outsourcing.

The new El Paso facility will serve the Texas region alongside the company's existing Austin and Dallas offices, while extending contact center support to clients and customers across America. The new center has 485 seats, and TransPerfect plans to recruit more than 400 agents in El Paso by 2023.
