In the US, marcoms agency Marcus Thomas has acquired data transformation and analytics firm ROInsights, for an undisclosed sum.
Cincinnati-based ROInsights specializes in helping businesses collect and analyze data and information at scale, and providing roadmaps for measuring ROI (return on investment). The firm helps clients with business analytics, data visualization and database integration, along with other technical consultation.
Following the deal, ten-person ROInsights will maintain its name while operating under the Marcus Thomas brand from this Friday, July 1st. Marcus Thomas' current analytics team will merge with the ROInsights team ,and report to ROInsights co-founders Nathan Bauer and Patrick Koman. who will continue to lead the Cincinnati office. The move boosts Marcus Thomas' own analytics services, which includes data visualization and media analytics.
