In the US, digital experience agency Wheroware has acquired user experience consultancy LookThink for an undisclosed sum.
Washington DC-based LookThink provides design and development expertise to help optimize internal systems and processes, improve customer experiences, and increase operating efficiency. Projects are measured by metrics such as employee time savings; increase in rates of adoption, completion or engagement; reduced call center volume; and improved customer retention. Whereoware focuses on building digital experiences through personalization and automation, data maximization and custom technology solutions, and the firms say they have complementary capabilities, similar business approaches and a shared focus on driving measurable results for clients.
As part of the deal LookThink President Joe Mallek will assume the role of Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing client strategy, UX and design for Whereoware. The acquisition brings together a cross-functional team of over 80 digital marketers, strategists, technologists, UX consultants, experience designers, business analysts, project managers and solution architects.
Whereoware CEO Michael Mathias comments: 'The addition of LookThink greatly expands our capabilities and resources to help our clients achieve their objectives, creating intuitive solutions that make a positive impact. Together with LookThink, we can deliver even stronger results for our clients through deeper expertise and a broader technology stack'.
