Kantar Public Hires PwC's Lucy Birch as Marcoms Leader

In London, government and public sector evidence and advisory business Kantar Public has appointed long-time PwC exec Lucy Birch as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and as a member of the global Board.

Lucy BirchEstablished in 2016, Kantar Public combines expertise in human understanding with technologies to provide evidence and advisory services for decision-making in government and the public sector. In May, Kantar agreed to sell the Kantar Public business to private equity firm Trilantic Europe, and the transaction is expected to close later this year.

Birch (pictured) joins from management consultancy giant PwC where she latterly led global strategic marketing, responsible for the marketing and brand campaign to launch PwC's new global strategy and ESG proposition around the world. Prior to PwC, she spent more than a decade at KPMG in various marketing leadership roles across Advisory, and later serving as KPMG's UK Head of Internal Communications, Knowledge Management, Research & Insights. Birch has over twenty years of marcoms experience across B2B, B2C and the public sector.

In her new role, Birch will continue to build on Kantar Public's existing reputation, while overseeing the launch of new offers.
