Kynetec Names Colin Siren COO for Animal Health

Agriculture and animal health specialist Kynetec has promoted Colin Siren to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Animal Health. He replaces Jeff Gaidos, who is taking a step back from the business, but will continue on a part-time consultancy basis.

Colin SirenKynetec's Animal Health portfolio includes PetTrak and VetTrak, which deliver monthly market insights in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Poland. The business also provides bespoke customer insights and analytics globally on business topics related to opportunity assessment, pricing, user experience, communication, concept testing, segmentation, branding, customer experience, and channel and sales force.

Siren (pictured) joined in 2016, and most recently served as SVP for the company's Animal Health Subscription Services business in North America, responsible for rolling out the PetTrak offering. Prior to this, he spent fourteen years at Ipsos Animal Health, and he worked for ComQuest Research, having begun his career in marketing at Siemens and Mercedes-Benz.

In his new role, Siren will be responsible for driving Kynetec's Animal Health strategy globally. Gaidos held the position for nearly five years, having previously been EVP at Vetstreet, Senior Director US Companion Business at Schering-Plough, and VP Marketing at Bayer HealthCare.
