Dynata Launches Global Centre of Excellence

Dynata has announced the formation of a Global Research and Data Sciences Center of Excellence (COE), led by Steven Millman and bringing together the expertise and methods of its Research Delivery, Panel Sciences and Data Sciences teams.

Dynata, which these days describes itself as a 'first-party data platform for insights, activation and measurement', says the new organization will streamline its speedy and accurate delivery of research; 'generate compelling thought-leadership opportunities to drive growth'; and enhance its position in data science, AI and machine learning.

Millman (pictured) is an advertising research veteran and member of the board of trustees of the ARF, who until now has led research and operations for Dynata's Advertising Solutions business. He joined the company three years ago after three years as Chief Scientist and SVP at MRI-Simmons, five at Comscore, and six at consultancies Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Among other aims, the new COE will tap economies of scale to standardize and automate research delivery; providing Panel Science support to execute best practices for engaging and retaining members; and applying automation to the solving of complex challenges for clients, including expanding panel profile fill rates, improving panelist survey routing, creating models for integrating first- and third-party data and improving those matches.
