Next15's data and insights division Savanta has acquired London-based research firm Motif, a 40-strong consumer and b2b agency providing expertise in customer experience, brand strategy and proposition development. Terms were not disclosed.
Motif was launched as Network Research thirty years ago, and combines its custom research expertise with a loyalty framework predicting business outcomes - the latter was launched as the company rebranded in 2019. Motif works with brands across a range of industries such as financial services, healthcare, technology, utilities and FMCG, and for more than twenty has managed what it describes as 'one of the UK's most ambitious customer experience programmes'.
Savanta's services include research & consulting, data collection and analysis, and the BrandVue and MarrketVue reputation tracking solutions.
Following the acquisition Motif will continue to operate under its existing brand, and the firms say there will be no personnel changes. The deal brings to Savanta Motif's customer loyalty and customer experience, as well as its in-house CATI team; while Motif will be able to offer clients a broader range of solutions, and expand its market overseas.
Motif Owner and MD Ginny Monk (pictured top) comments: 'We are incredibly excited about this partnership, it brings new scale and scope that we could not achieve alone, and it will offer enormous benefits to our clients. Motif and Savanta are extremely passionate about customer experience... Together, we can help brands around the world grow and stay ahead of the competition'.
Savanta COO Paul Bath (below) comments: 'We're delighted to be welcoming Ginny, Rachel, Chris, Joe and the wider Motif team to Savanta. As we continue the development of our overall experience offer, Motif's expertise in loyalty and customer experience will significantly enhance our ability to help clients better predict and drive higher levels of customer retention, acquisition and revenue'.
