Logit Group to Acquire Issues & Answers

September 20 2022

Toronto, Canada-based online and telephone data collection agency The Logit Group has agreed to acquire the assets and business of US-based Issues & Answers (I&A), including its Virginia Beach head office. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Peter McGuinness Founded 34 years ago by Peter McGuinness (pictured), I&A conducts opinion surveys for US and global corporations, with services ranging from survey and sampling design, in-house data collection and project management through to analysis and interpretation. The company's specialist teams cover the agribusiness, energy and environment, government, and healthcare sectors, as well as people analytics and quantitative research.

As part of the transaction, which is due to close on September 30th, Logit will hire almost all I&A's staff, and rename Issues & Answers 'Logit | i+a'. Once the deal has closed, Logit will move its US headquarters from Michigan to I&A's offices in Virginia Beach, VA; and will add I&A's two call centers - located in Virginia and Michigan - and their operations staff.

McGuiness says the acquisition will enable his firm's clients and team to benefit from Logit's range of online and off-line research offerings, as well as its global capabilities. Sam Pisani, Managing Partner of Logit adds: 'Acquiring Issues and Answers will provide us with a great opportunity to not only further build Logit as an industry leader, but to also become a true, absolute North American and global partner for our clients. Our methodological diversity and commitment to innovation continues to further differentiate us from our competitors'.
