Nielsen has appointed long-time Amway exec Deepak Mann as Director, Marketing Effectiveness, based in Mumbai, India.
Mann (pictured) joins from health and beauty products direct selling firm Amway, where he served as Insights Head, managing global, regional and market specific roles across several geographies. Earlier at the company he was Regional Consumer and Media Insights Head for Europe, India and Africa. He began his career as an Associate Research Manager at Research International, working across a range of sectors and leading large-scale studies.
In his new role, Mann will report to Abhinav Maheshwari, VP Marketing Effectiveness APAC, who comments: 'Deepak brings with him a strong track record and core expertise in marketing effectiveness and consumer insights management. We will look at leveraging his capabilities and business acumen in driving stronger customer engagement alongside fortifying Nielsen's presence in the marketing effectiveness domain across verticals'.
