Israel-based Dataloop, which helps business manage the entire data life cycle for their AI projects, has raised $33m in a Series B round of funding. The money will be used to expand globally, specifically by building teams in the US, Europe and India.Dataloop's platform helps organizations streamline the process for preparing and annotating their visual data for machine learning initiatives. The platform, which generates datasets from raw visual data, includes a data management environment, annotation tool with automatic capabilities, and data QA and debug tools.
New funding has been led by NGP Capital and Alpha Wave Ventures, with participation from existing investors from Dataloop's Series A, including Amiti Ventures, F2 Venture Capital, and global crowdfunding venture firm, OurCrowd. This adds to the firm's previous $11m Series A and $5m seed round.
