Growth Funds for Location Insights Firm Mytraffic

In France, Mytraffic, which provides data insights for physical places, has raised EUR 30m in a Series B round of investment, which it will use to hire in Italy, Germany, Spain and the UK, and grow its existing offices in Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, London and Milan.

Mytraffic has built a SaaS platform to quantify and qualify footfall in front of any location, anywhere in Europe. Retailers use this platform to select the best locations to open stores, monitor the performance of their real estate assets, attract visitors, and negotiate leases, and every year, it is used to analyse more than thousands of stores, streets and neighbourhoods, city centres and shopping malls.

New funding was led by AXA Venture Partners (AVP), bringing the total raised to date to close to EUR 45m. The investment will be used for planned product developments including for tourist insights, purchasing habits and rental value, complementing existing analytics such as footfall data, vehicle traffic, competitive benchmarking, catchment area monitoring and visitor profiling. Recruitment across its seven European locations will continue, with twenty senior hires in various fields (tech, marketing, business acquisition, design, legal) and more than thirty sales representatives.
