Apollo Intelligence Hires First Chief People Officer

Apollo Intelligence, which provides data and insights to the healthcare and life science industries, has hired Rey Lado for the new role role of Chief People Officer.

Rey LadoInvestment firm Saroras Private Capital founded Apollo in 2019 after acquiring market intelligence firm InCrowd and healthcare data collection and custom survey solutions provider SHG (Survey Healthcare Global). Apollo currently has more than 250 employees, and earlier this year was acquired by healthcare-focused private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners.

Lado (pictured) joins from Ciox Health, where he served as VP of Human Resources, supporting more than 2,500 employees across the US in operations, sales and admin functions. Prior to this he was the talent and organizational development leader for vehicle remarketing services specialist Cox Automotive, and he held organizational effectiveness roles at UPS, Accenture and Delta Airlines.

In his new role, Lado will focus on developing and scaling talent and high-performing teams, and further the company's diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. He also serves as a strategic advisor to Apollo's CEO, Daniel Fitzgerald, and counsel to the executive team. Fitzgerald comments: 'With Rey Lado on our team, Apollo gains a chief advocate with the organizational and team development skills that can help guide us through our next transformative phase of growth. Building upon Apollo's strong foundation, Rey will help expand the team's capabilities and equip us to optimize not just the Apollo of today, but the Apollo of tomorrow'.
