ANZ Group to Acquire DOT Loves Data

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ Group) has agreed to acquire analytics and data viz specialist DOT Loves Data, for an undisclosed sum.

Wellington-based DOT Loves Data provides a suite of off-the-shelf data and insight products for a variety of business needs. Specifically, these relate to data aggregation, customer segmentation, big data and analytics.

ANZ says the proposed investment supports its long-term ambition to provide data and insights to its business customers. The deal will see ANZ New Zealand work closely with the team at DOT Loves Data, whose CEO and founder Jason Wells says ANZ Group's support will not only help the business grow, but also to develop new and bespoke data tools.
