Real-Time MR Firm Glimpse Adds Lucid's Popovich as CRO

January 12 2023

In New York, self-service, real-time insights platform Glimpse has appointed long-time Lucid exec Jay Popovich as Chief Revenue Officer; Adam Bai as Chief Strategy and Client Service Officer and Karen Strauss as a part-time Strategic Consultant.

Jay PopovichFounded in 2021 by former Lucid exec Neil Dixit, the Glimpse platform uses natural language processing (NLP) to gather and analyze feedback from a global audience, with a focus on language, emotion and sentiment. The firm claims that the solution enables organizations to access real-time answers to any questions on any topic almost instantaneously.

Popovich (pictured) joins after seven years at programmatic sample platform Lucid, where he most recently served as Executive Director, Platforms. Prior to this, he worked for 3-D virtual store research specialist InContext Solutions as VP, Shopper and Retail Solutions, and he spent eight years at Survey Sampling International (SSI), latterly as Director, Sales. Bai previously held client services roles at digital academies specialist Nomadic Learning for nearly a decade, and Strauss joins after senior marketing roles at health communications agency M Booth Health, and innovation positions at PR consultancy Ketchum.

Commenting on the news, Dixit said: 'I'm thrilled to expand my team to help support organizations searching for the easiest, most cost-effective way to access natural language responses in just hours. 2023 is already shaping up to be the year of speedy sentiment sourcing, sorting, and analysis'.
