Indico Labs Hires Product Director and Head of Sales

London-based MR data visualization and PowerPoint automation specialist Indico Labs has appointed former Streetbees exec Joel Miller as Strategic Product Director and ex-Nielsen VP Dimitra Spiliotopoulou as Head of Sales.

Founded in 2018 by former YouGov Python Programmer / Discovery Inc Senior Data Analyst Majeed Saheb-Zadha, Indico Labs offers a self-service data visualization and report automation application allowing users to create PowerPoint reports directly from their Excel tables. It also offers Dashbox, which can be used to convert tabulated data into an online interactive chart-book, combining the functionality of a dashboard with the layout of a traditional report. A year ago, the firm raised $350k in a seed round of investment, led by Michael Halberstam, the former Chairman of data collection group ISA.

Miller joins after two years at mobile-based customer insights firm Streetbees, where as Product Manager he led a team of software engineers and machine learning specialists. Earlier he was Head of External Analysts at Gorkana, then Senior Data Analyst at media intelligence firm Cision when it acquired Gorkana. Spiliotopoulou joins after five years at Nielsen as Regional VP of Sales, before which she worked for Zappi as Director of Business Development.

With these two new additions, Indico Labs says it aims to expand its product offering and accelerate its growth in the research technology market.
