ThinkGen Names New President and Chief Strategy Officer

In the US, full-service pharma market research and consultancy firm ThinkGen has promoted Brian Hull to the role of President, alongside his existing position of Chief Operating Officer. He replaces current President Bart Weiner, who will take up the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer.

Brian Hull and Bart WeinerPhiladelphia, PA-based ThinkGen provides customized MR solutions for healthcare companies, including qual and quant studies in the US and globally. Hull joined in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer with 28 years' healthcare marketing research sector experience, including eight from GfK where latterly he was Chief Consulting Officer for GfK Healthcare. His career included serving as General Manager of the Competitive Intelligence business at pharma and biotech agency Two Labs; and he founded and ran custom healthcare MR consultancy Experient Research Group.

In his new role, Hull is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations including sales, marketing, finance and strategic business units. He takes over the position of President from Weiner, who joined in 2020 with a background that included working for GfK Healthcare as President and Group COO; and President of pharmaceutical researcher GfK V2.
