Africa-based MR and strategy firm Pierrine Consulting has launched a Development Studies division in Lagos, Nigeria, to help clients understand the social, economic and political dynamics that shape communities and impact development outcomes.
Pierrine Consulting, which also has offices in Ghana and Kenya, focuses on driving growth for clients in the food and beverage, beauty manufacturing and financial services sectors, with more than 90 years of combined experience across Sub Saharan Africa. The new division will provide insights underpinned by research into all aspects of African heritage, to help shape policy and practice on issues of governance, integrated economic development and the evolution of a variety of sectors in Africa, including health, agriculture, financial systems, education, and off-grid light and energy.
The division will conduct a range of research activities including impact assessments; behavioural, longitudinal, KAP (knowledge, attitude and practice), and triangulation studies; and monitoring and evaluation programs, using a range of data sets and research methods; as well as political research. CEO Seyi Adeoye (pictured) comments: 'With the launch of our Development Studies division, we are excited to bring our expertise to support the growth and development of social and public policy work in Nigeria and the African continent at large'.
