Kynetec Buys Machinery Stats Specialist Systematics

June 12 2023

Agricultural and animal health analytics and insights firm Kynetec has acquired software development and analytics business Systematics International, which reports on machinery volume statistics for worldwide closed and open data exchanges.

Manuel and Christine BhattThe open exchanges include the Global Registrations Data Monitor (GRDM), a platform collecting, aggregating and reporting on machinery registration data from official bodies around the world, across 32 markets, and the firms say the buy will allow them to explore opportunities to expand this and others. It will also blend the existing GRDM data with Kynetec's global crop protection and seed market data.

Systematics, which celebrated fifty years in business last year, will keep its brand 'for the foreseeable future', becoming 'Systematics International - a Kynetec company'. Its previous owners Christine Bhatt (currently CEO) and Manuel Bhatt (Chief Finance and Strategic Planning Officer) will join Kynetec, together with their team of programmers and data analysts.

Kynetec CEO Daniel Wirth says the buy builds on the 2022 acquisitions the company made in the machinery sector, namely Agriview in Australia and New Zealand, allowing it to expand its reach into tracking the machinery market across the globe 'whilst respecting data compliance rules surrounding closed and open data exchanges'. According to Christine and Manuel Bhatt (pictured), 'Both Kynetec and Systematics understand the importance and confidentiality of closed data exchange services delivered to trade associations and their members, with continued emphasis on retaining current exemplary work practices and customer relationships'. They add: 'Carrying on with its strong family ethical values, the Systematics team will continue delivering timely, accurate and consistent data exchange services to manufacturers with the utmost respect and confidentiality'.

Kynetec's expertise spans animal health and nutrition, crop protection, farm machinery and equipment, seed/biotech and fertilisers.
