OvationMR Co-founder Jim Whaley Joins MRII Board

In the US, nonprofit organization the Market Research Institute International (MRII) has added Globalpark and OvationMR co-founder Jim Whaley to its Board of Directors.

Jim WhaleyMRII offers online market research courses covering the fundamental skills for the profession, to the standards of worldwide industry associations. The organisation partners with the University of Georgia on 'Principles' courses for Market Research, Mobile MR and Pharmaceutical MR, and has taught more than 10,000 practitioners from 111 countries.

Whaley (pictured) co-founded New York-based online sampling and research services firm OvationMR in 2017, and as CEO has since helped drive the company's focus on providing audience and insights solutions for stakeholders in the B2B and healthcare sectors. Previously he was President of brand measurement firm Brandeyes, and he co-founded panel, community and survey software provider Globalpark, having earlier worked for SPSS as MR division Senior Director of Sales, North America. He is currently a Board Director for the Marketing Research Education Foundation.

MRII Executive Director Ed Keller says the appointment comes at a key time for MRII, as it looks to further advance its mission of providing the foundational excellence for market research and insights success. He adds: 'His vast knowledge and long-term achievements in market research will provide invaluable insights and deep understanding of the industry to guide our future growth and direction'.
