Podcast analytics and audience insights platform CoHost has launched a feature called 'Advanced Audience Demographics', to provide an analysis of who listeners are - with data including age, gender, household income, interests, hobbies and social media consumption habits.
US-based CoHost, which was built by podcast company Quill, provides an all-in-one podcast hosting, marketing and analytics tool, through which brands and podcasters can distribute, grow and measure their audio.
The new Advanced Audience Demographics can help brands and agencies verify if podcasts are reaching their desired target audience; and can be used to tailor content to audience preferences for improved engagement, and to enhance sponsorship sales with listener profiles. The solution is split into two primary dashboards: Audience Overview and Interests & Habits. The first provides a custom listener persona that includes details about an audience's gender and age chart, household income, family and pets. The second delivers details about listeners' most used social media channels, how they use these channels, their general and sub-interests, and their lifestyles.
