Echo MR Rebrands as 10K Humans

US-based insights firm Echo MR has rebranded as '10K Humans', a name it says reflects 'the incredible community of individuals who make us who we are', rather than simply products and services. A number of new solutions have also been added to the portfolio.

The firm, now based in Austin, Texas, was launched in 2017 as Echo Qualitative Project Support, but rebranded after a year as it supplemented its field management offer with discussion guide and screener development, moderation and report writing. It quickly opened offices across the Americas and in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, partnering with Alida in 2021 to expand in Europe. At the time, Echo was already stressing human involvement in MR - 'people, paired with technology'.

Current services and solutions include Active Recruitment, including via online and social media sources; engagement-focused panel service Panel +; research communities; and a mock jury offering. With the rebrand, three new solutions are added: video narratives service Stories; a hub / portal called Overlay; and the 10K Humans Academy, which aims to educate SMEs and start-ups on the importance of MR.
