Pharma Market Modeller J+D Forecasting Acquired

Life sciences data, insight and intelligence specialist Evaluate has acquired London-based J+D Forecasting, which helps pharmaceutical clients accurately forecast market size, growth in key indications and demand for new technologies.

Established in the 1990s and now part of pharma solutions group Norstella, Evaluate helps clients optimize their big ticket investments in treatments and markets, embedding its proprietary and industry data into their workflows, tools and processes. J+D works with pharmaceutical analysts and marketers to create effective forecast models for the specific business needs of a range of internal stakeholders across a product lifecycle.

Evaluate says the deal brings together its 'world-class consensus forecasting and consulting expertise' with J+D's highly specialised models delivered through cloud-based management and analytical solutions, to give customers more intelligent and consistent insights and improved collaboration. J+D's models will be integrated with others and GenAI used to synthesise insights from them all to create 'a comprehensive one-stop solution for all forecasting needs'.
