New Chief Scientist for Ad Tech Firm Simulmedia

Data-driven TV advertising solutions firm Simulmedia, headquartered in New York, has appointed Ken Rona as its new Chief Scientist.

Ken RonaSimulmedia was established in 2008 and offers Performance TV, a suite of products powered by the patented, AI-driven TV+ analytics and activation platform and delivering targeted video ad campaigns across all streaming and linear TV channels for more than 100 top brands. It claims to be 'the only company to guarantee campaign performance, whether the goal is reach, custom targeting, or ROI'.

Dr. Rona (pictured) brings twenty years of experience using data science to help clients improve how they buy and sell digital media products. He built up the digital product line at IXI, led data strategy and campaign analytics at [x+1], drove digital innovation at Turner Broadcasting and was a founder of Chalice Custom Algorithms. Rona is also an advisor to startup studio Montauk Labs and The 98, an early-stage venture firm, and holds a Ph.D. in behavioral economics from Duke University.
