Nexstar Hires Platform Marketing & Intelligence Head

In the US, broadcasting and publishing network Nexstar Media Group has appointed Stacey Lynn Schulman as its first EVP, Platform Marketing and Intelligence.

Stacey SchulmanWith its headquarters in Irving, Texas, the Group produces and distributes local and national news, sports and entertainment content across its television and digital platforms, including more than 300,000 hours of programming each year. Its network comprises 200 owned or partner stations in 116 US markets, reaching 212 million people.

Schulman brings more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, across print, radio, cable, digital and broadcast television. She worked as Chief Marketing Officer at Katz Media Group, overseeing the marketing and research teams across Katz Radio and Television; and as a senior exec at Turner Broadcasting, Interpublic Group, and the Television Bureau of Advertising. She began her career at CBS Television.

In her new role, Schulman is responsible for driving demand, leading marketing efforts for the group's Advertising division and overseeing the sales intelligence business unit. She reports to EVP and Chief Revenue Officer Michael Strober and is based in New York City.
