ACNielsen has announced two senior appointments in Australia. Paul Richmond, currently MD of ACNielsen Vietnam, becomes MD for Australia while Mr Travyn Rhall, previously MD of Customised Research Services in Australia becomes regional MD for Customised Research Services in Asia Pacific.
Richmond has more than 10 years of experience at ACNielsen, moving from the UK in 1997 to Thailand, China and finally Vietnam where he pioneered the expansion of the company's retail tracking business to National urban status. He will relocate to Sydney where he will report to Alistair Watts, Managing Director of ACNielsen Pacific.
Rhall, who in his new role retains responsibility for ACNielsen's International Research division, is also to be based in Sydney. He will work in partnership with other Asia Pacific leaders to grow customised research business and keep it aligned with the company's global strategy. In previous roles at ACNielsen, Rhall built its customised research business overseas, including the successful expansion of its international footprint to include dedicated offices in New York, Chicago, California, Oxford, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He has also helped consolidate its Internet research offerings.
