Bilendi's BARI Adds Quant Skills

Data collection and research services firm Bilendi & respondi has extended the functionality of its BARI AI-powered research assistant to include quantitative projects.

Research tech firm Bilendi acquired German sample and panel provider respondi in 2021. Bilendi & respondi's data collection focuses on two market segments: Technology & Services for Market Research and Technology & Services for Customer Engagement and Loyalty. The group has operations in Europe's big five economies and the Nordic countries plus Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Morocco. In addition to proprietary panels it offers scripting, hosting and delivery services, omnibus studies and panel building support, as well as AI-based solutions such as qual research platform Bilendi Discuss.

BARI (Bilendi's Artificial Research Intelligence) was launched for qual researchers last year, and is now also available to assist with quant: this includes automated AI moderation of open-ended answers, which the firm says 'significantly increases the length of responses'; automated quality checks for authentic and relevant verbatims, based on the company's proprietary algorithms and LLM-based AI models; 'effortless' data processing using automated coding; and follow-up research into sub-groups, with up to 5 questions, via the Bilendi Discuss platform.

Bilendi CEO and founder Marc Bidou (pictured) says the launch follows frequent client requests for BARI's skills on quant projects: 'BARI has equal-to-human moderation skills but with the big advantage of being available 24/7, whenever participants are online.
