New Name and Senior Hire for MR Firm High Tech Dev

April 10 2024

London-based researcher High Tech Dev has rebranded as HTAIR, reflecting a significant change in its mission and vision (focused around AI); and has appointed Nigel Woodliffe as Chief Customer Success Officer.

Nigel WoodliffeThe firm says the change of name reflects its commitment to harnessing the power of AI in its market research software, 'ensuring our tools are not just more user-friendly and powerful, but also able to yield deeper insights'. HTAIR says AI, with which it has been working for several years, helps it to analyse the vast quantities of qualitative data that can be generated using its online qualitative tools from online communities, interviews and focus groups.

The newly-named company says AI integration 'must be human-led... directed with clear, context-specific instructions tailored to each project', to produce insights that are 'not just credible but actionable'.

Woodliffe (pictured) joins with sixteen years of experience in the industry. Most recently he served as a Director at Forsta, after more than a dozen years at its predecessor company FocusVision where he rose from Client Services Executive to Director, Global Strategic Alliances.
