Funds for First Party Data Platform FirstHive

In San Jose, California, customer data platform (CDP) solutions firm FirstHive has closed a new funding round of unspecified size, to speed its expansion in the US and extend platform capabilities, including AI.

The company was founded in 2019 by Aditya Bhamidipaty, has offices and customers across the US, India, and ASEAN, and helps enterprise customers consolidate their first party data into a single source of intelligence, in turn providing strongly personalized experiences and driving engagement.

The latest round was led by Saama with participation from Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), Amit Singhal, and Twin Ventures, as well as existing investors Mela Ventures and angel investor Amit Midha, CEO of Alat.

Bhamidipaty says the support and expertise of the new backers 'will be invaluable as we embark on the next phase of our journey'.
