Nielsen//NetRatings Analyst Appointment Down Under

Nielsen//NetRatings has this week announced the appointment of Andrew Eckford as Senior Analyst for Australia effective immediately. Andrew will be in charge of the largest online behaviour database in Australia.

Based on analysis of multiple data sources including SiteCensus, Market Intelligence, NetView and AdIntelligence, Eckford will provide NetRatings' customers with quantitative and qualitative analysis of audiences visiting their online sites and advertisements. In addition, he will support the company's communications activities by presenting strategic industry analyses and research findings to the Australian media.

Eckford previously served as Senior Online Consumer Analyst for ACNielsen, where he was in charge of research and analyses of Internet user trends, eCommerce and online behaviour in Asia Pacific. He has also operated as an independent research analyst for various industries and most recently held the position of Business Analyst at Investment Trends, providing decision support information to leading financial services organisations.
