Qual research company Bolt Insight has added two new features - Dynamic Persons and Meta-Analysis - to its BoltChatAI platform, which blends conversational / agentic AI with human expertise. Bolt's platform uses AI-moderation to conduct real-time conversations, and already includes smart and dynamic probing, stimulus upload and multilingual capabilities. The software is used for a range of purposes from ad and concept testing to understanding of customer needs and price optimization.
Dynamic Personas recognises that every consumer segment is 'unique but also evolving', according to the firm. The personas are built up from a combination of surveys, interviews and trend reports, and evolve over time as new data is added. New data to update these can be uploaded by clients themselves in the form of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, chat transcripts or reports. Bolt CEO and founder Hakan Yurdakul says this 'feeds into a broader understanding, growing and compounding brand intelligence and insight' with each study.
Meta-Analysis allows clients to tap selectively into past research, both qual and quant, to uncover hidden trends, compare behavioural shifts over time and generate charts and summaries on demand. An AI Moderator scans the data, analyses and deliver instant summaries, charts or themes. Yurdakul says the feature will cut analysis time from days to minutes, reduce human error and 'provide insights which are cumulative rather than one-off.'
