Media planning tech and advertising data firm Guideline has enhanced its Planning Suite with new data features designed to eliminate inefficiencies, unify systems, promote collaboration and improve campaign reporting.Guideline provides data and technology to guide clients' media investment, and is the result of the merger of Standard Media Index, SQAD and Lumina. It recently appointed Vincent Misfud as CEO, promoted Alberto Leyes to SVP of Go-to-Market Strategy, and brought former Enghouse Systems Marketer Tim Peters as CMO and VP of Demand Generation.
The Suite comprises MediaTools and Lumina, between them offering advertisers and agencies a centralized environment to develop, authorize, execute and analyze media plans. With the latest upgrade, the firm promises a complete set of data automation and integration tools, including instant generation of one-off and recurring / time interval reports; read and write APIs for data platform integration and alignment of names and rules; Flight Mapping ID to improve traceability; and a dedicated reporting layer with customizable dashboards, faster performance, and a pivot-style report builder.
CEO Mifsud comments: 'Many leading agencies and advertisers already rely on Guideline's Planning tools, moving beyond disconnected systems and spreadsheets to power their media spend - but this technology improvement significantly raises the bar on what's possible when it comes to data in action across the entire campaign lifecycle. Today's news is both a direct response to customer needs and a continued commitment to innovation and efficiency across an increasingly complex media landscape.'
