In Bucharest, Romania, digital MR agency DataDiggers has announced the launch of Syntheo, a platform using advanced AI persona modeling to help researchers simulate audience responses, test hypotheses, and explore hard-to-reach segments.DataDiggers was founded in 2015 and provides tech-driven insights solutions in more than 65 countries. The firm says Syntheo was developed as a complementary solution to traditional market research, not a replacement, offering solutions 'speed, cost or access make full-scale fieldwork challenging.'
The platform uses large language models to create AI personas, fictional profiles designed to mirror the real-world behavior, preferences and demographics of respondents. These generate synthetic survey responses using natural language and context-aware reasoning.
The company says synthetic insights 'should not be treated as a substitute for traditional data collection,' but serve as a thinking tool for early-stage exploration and hypothesis testing, and can also be used to explore niche or low-incidence audiences, simulate 'what-if' market scenarios and supplement early-stage qualitative work with structured input.
