In Boston, USA, cultural intelligence specialist Quilt.AI has recently launched a platform called Social Meaning, using AI to decode consumer behavior via analysis of unstructured online conversations.Quilt.AI was founded in 2018 with the ambitious objective of 'indexing humanity.' The firm promises to help clients understand consumers, predict future trends, create 'culturally resonant' content and innovate accordingly. The new Social Meaning tool taps advanced natural language processing and multimodal capabilities to sift through data, identifying patterns, sentiments and emerging trends.
The platform boasts a conversational query interface for natural language access to data; real-time analysis of trends based on continuous monitoring of online discussions; and simultaneous analysis of text, images and videos to capture the nuances of online expression.
Company co-founder Dr. Angad Chowdhry (pictured) comments: 'In an era where data is abundant but understanding is increasingly scarce, Social Meaning bridges the gap. I wish I had this when I was studying culture during my PhD.'
