Global research and analytics association ESOMAR has launched an initiative called The Big Research Consultation, aimed at understanding the current needs, challenges and aspirations of professionals in the sector at a time of 'rapid transformation'.

The Consultation seeks feedback from agency leaders, buy-side decision-makers and others, as well as non-members of the association, and will help to steer the body's support for its members and the wider profession.
The exercise seeks distinct feedback from specific audience: individual members can share what support they need in their daily work and throughout their careers; corporate agency members can help define what membership should deliver for companies; client-side insights leaders will help to direct ESOMAR's support for internal research teams and agency collaboration; and non-members are 'welcomed to share why they have, or haven't, engaged with the community and what would make a difference.'
'Research professionals today are navigating complex ethical terrain, evolving technologies, and growing demands for agility and impact,' says Chief Services Officer Rhiannon Bryant. 'This consultation is our way of listening deeply, learning what matters most to our stakeholders, and making sure we evolve with purpose and clarity.'
The association is online at www.esomar.org , while the consultation itself can be found at www.research.net/r/esomar25p .
