Senior Hires for Kantar Consulting

Kantar has strengthened its Consulting division with the appointments of Lloyd Burdett, who returns as Senior Partner, and Allan Solomon who joins as Partner and Head of Commercial Strategy.

The practice helps clients grow by innovating across brand positioning, organisational models, sustainability and demand generation.

Burdett (pictured left) brings more than twenty years of experience working for major brands in global markets including the USA, Latin America, Europe and Asia. He worked as Chief Strategy Officer at 'purpose' and sustainability consultancy Given, helping to grow the company prior to its sales to Anthesis, where he was made MD of the brand and communications division. Earlier he worked at the Henley Centre Headlight Vision, The Futures Company, and in a previous spell at Kantar Consulting where he led the global futures and innovation practice for more than four years.

Solomon (pictured right) has more than two decades' experience advising global brands in marketing, brand strategy and innovation, in markets including South Africa and the UK. He held senior roles at Sony, where he led the expansion into the world of mobile; and an Carlsberg, Centrica and SABMiller. In his new role he will help to strengthen Kantar Consulting client-centric approach to brand and commercial strategy, and extend its offer into new sectors and categories.
