Google DV 360 Joins VOZ Streaming Service

Australian television audience measurement body OzTAM has today announced the integration of Google Display & Video 360 (DV360) as a demand-side platform (DSP) partner for its programmatic data enablement service, VOZ Streaming.

VOZ brings together data for broadcast viewing on TV sets and granular BVOD viewing on connected devices, and forms the foundation of the country's 'Total TV' cross-platform measurement standard - the official ad trading currency since the end of last year. VOZ Streaming is OzTAM's data enablement service, with the twin functions of providing advertisers with enhanced programmatic BVOD trading via a common OzTAM dataset, and improving viewer experience by capping the frequency with which they see ads across participating broadcasters - the latter uses a consistent anonymised identifier (BVOD ID).

Google DV360 joins three existing DSP partners - The Trade Desk, Microsoft Xandr and Nexxen - and takes coverage across the halfway line: VOZ Streaming now connects with the majority of the demand-side market. OzTAM says the partnership 'unlocks significant BVOD inventory potential for holding companies, independent agencies, and direct advertisers alike - enabling them to access more premium TV inventory, streamline campaign delivery, and extend reach across broadcaster platforms through a centralised solution.'

Announcing the deal, OzTAM hinted that SBS On Demand inventory will be the next addition to the DSP service.
