Two EVP Promotions for RepData

Full service MR and data quality solutions firm Rep Data has expanded the roles of Steven Snell, who is promoted to EVP of Research; and Ricky Odello who becomes EVP of Sales.

Rep Data was founded in 2019 by former Lucid and Research Now exec Patrick Stokes, and in 2023 acquired data quality and anti-fraud software platform Research Defender (previously SampleChain), whose software matches respondents to relevant surveys and prevents sample fraud / duplication. Its other main product is Research Desk, a centralized DIY sampling platform that enhances efficiency and data quality. Partners and clients include MR providers, consultancies, major corporations, ad and brand strategy firms, universities, and PR agencies.

Snell (pictured below) currently leads the company's research strategy and overseas all aspects of its research practice. His experience includes leading the Survey Center of Excellence at Goldman Sachs, and working as the founding researcher at Qualtrics Research Services. In his new role he will drive innovation in research strategy, ensure the scientific rigor of data collection, and support product enhancements including Research Defender. 'His expanded leadership ensures we continue to set the standard for rigorous, actionable research.'

Odello (pictured above) worked previously in a senior commercial leadership role, and before joining RepData served at Cint, Lucid and SSI. He will now lead Rep Data's sales strategy, and continue working closely with client teams to tailor solutions across full-service, DIY, and fraud prevention offerings. Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Rothe comments: 'Ricky's strategic mindset and strong client relationships have been key to our growth. This promotion recognizes his leadership in helping clients get the most out of our evolving suite of services and technology.'
