Armenia's Media Industrial Committee has today signed an agreement with Indian media tech company Inditronics Media, which will supply the country's TV ratings and monitoring service for the next seven years. A later phase is scheduled to include digital media and radio measurement.Key representatives from the media industry, ad agencies, international partners, and government delegates attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with plans and a timeline for implementation under discussion. The Media Industrial Committee says it will work with all stakeholders in the sector 'to create a fair, competitive, and developing media environment.'
Inditronics has more than ten years' experience of providing media measurement, conducting multi-layered measurements of television and digital platforms in more than 110 cities across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai - as well as in African countries and Nepal. The firm's technology monitors the viewing behavior of around 836 million viewers, in real time, as well as viewing via OTT platforms, smart TVs and portable devices.
Inditronics says providing 'accurate, transparent, and reliable data-driven measurements... will contribute to the growth of advertising campaigns by international brands in the Armenian market [and] in turn, promote the healthy development of the media field.
