Alida Unveils AI Assistant

August 12 2025

In Toronto, CX and UX research specialist Alida has launched an AI-powered assistant, allowing researchers to 'instantly' summarize themes, identify key insights, generate visualizations, recommended actions and share findings with stakeholders.

Connell O'ReilleyAlida provides clients with an 'always-on' community of their most engaged customers, with a suite of tools including customer engagement solution Conversational Surveys and personalization, reporting and privacy features. Its Research Platform allows organizations to access real users, field a range of research methodologies and analyse feedback rapidly to help with product innovation, brand intelligence and UX enhancements.

The new Alida AI Assistant forms part of a suite of AI tools, with functions including transformation of complex data into actionable insights, enhancing open-ended responses and streamlining content creation.

The release also features extended capabilities for the firm's unmoderated usability testing feature set, first launched in March this year and focused around full-session screen recording. The platform now includes integrated Figma Prototype Testing, which helps users to quickly and efficiently iterate research design and get quick, scalable feedback. This also enables a number of additional launches scheduled for later this year, including Card Sort, Tree Testing, and Mobile Screen Recording.

Connell O'Reilley (pictured), Vice President, Product Management at Alida, comments: 'Researchers today are under constant pressure to produce impactful insights, faster than ever before. Our latest AI capabilities are designed to be a true partner to researchers, taking on the heavy lifting so they can stay focused on deep analysis and storytelling. At Alida, we're committed to building a secure, scalable research platform that thoughtfully embeds AI, laying the foundation for future innovation across the entire research ecosystem.'
