In Los Angeles, digital customer acquisition specialist Centerfield has announced the acquisition of consumer and expert reviews and ratings company ConsumerVoice.Centerfield has developed a proprietary platform called Dugout, which helps to engage in-market consumers and enhance customer acquisition for brands in home services, insurance, business services, e-commerce and other sectors.
Its new acquisition maintains the web site ConsumerVoice.org and BuyersReport.org: the former ranks companies using a proprietary algorithm incorporating expert and customer reviews, user experience, lifetime value, and overall brand trustworthiness. By pulling together thousands of data points for a single product or service into a single quantifiable rating, the company aims to 'mimic and simplify' the research process of a typical consumer. Its team of experts also research and/or test every product on the site, which allows them to identify factually inaccurate and fraudulent reviews.
Dylan Ramsey (pictured), co-founder and CEO of ConsumerVoice, says the sale will allow his company to grow faster and leverage its platform for more brands. Centerfield CEO Kris barton comments: 'ConsumerVoice is an innovative business that allows Centerfield to serve leading brands in more than a dozen new categories,. In addition to offering Centerfield's core capabilities to ConsumerVoice customers, we are excited for their digital commerce capabilities to expand the business of our current clients.'
The firms are online at www.centerfield.com and www.consumervoice.org .
