Stockholm-based multiplatform technology and gaming group Aonic has completed the acquisition of res tech firm Prime Insights, for a total transaction value in excess of $250m. The buy is Aonic's largest to date and aims to create a unified global rewards and data platform spanning more than 50 million consumers.Aonic already operates one of the largest gaming-focused discovery, testing and loyalty platforms, via its Exmox and Mega Fortuna offerings. Prime Insights, which offers programmatic sampling through extensive global proprietary panels using real-money rewards, was founded as recently as 2022 by serial technology entrepreneur Benjamin Ritzka, and employs around 120 people across seventeen countries.
Both firms have recorded more than 80% organic growth per annum over the past two years. The combined firm will serve a client base of mobile game developers and consumer insights researchers.
Ritzka will continue to lead Prime Insights as CEO and has contributed a significant amount to the transaction, becoming one of AONIC group's largest shareholders.
