Customer experience specialist Sprinklr has appointed Scott Millard as Chief Revenue Officer, while announcing second quarter sales up 8% to $212.0 million. The firm has also announced that CFO Manish Sarin will leave in a fortnight's time.Headquartered in New York City and with locations worldwide, Sprinklr offers what it calls a unified customer experience management platform (Unified-CXM), capturing massive amounts of structured and unstructured data from customer engagements on more than thirty channels. The company was led by its founder Ragy Thomas until last year and up to that point had been enjoying large double figure revenue rises. Last June it appointed a Co-CEO, former COO Trac Pham, but dropped the arrangement only five months later, replacing both Pham and Thomas with Rory Read, who is also company President.
Results for the quarter ending July 31st showed subscription revenue up 6% to $188.5m. Read said the results reflect 'continued and intentional progress' in a process of transformation, adding, 'while we still have work to do, we are encouraged by the increasing quality of our customer engagements, and upcoming impactful R&D innovations.'
Millard has worked in Sales at Dell Technologies for more than 25 years, joining in 2000 as a Senior Account Executive. Most recently he was SVP Global AI Sales, and earlier SVP Sales North America focused on Preferred Accounts. He is based in Boston, and graduated from Bryant University, where he also received his MBA.
Read, to whom Millard reports, says of the new arrival: 'Scott brings deep expertise, a proven track record of driving growth, and a passion for building high-performing teams that we believe are all critical as we continue our transformation journey. His customer-centric approach and competitive drive have helped him to deliver consistent and compelling results, and we believe that his arrival marks an important moment for Sprinklr as we sharpen our go-to-market strategy and position ourselves for long-term success.' Read adds: 'I want to thank our CFO, Manish Sarin... Manish has been an important member of the Executive Leadership Team, and I want to recognize all of his contributions during his three and a half years at the company.'
