India based Acutus AI has launched an on-demand synthetic data platform, which it says will instantly generate high-quality datasets for research, testing and client pilots; and has appointed Thifty AI co-founder Yashash Gupta to lead the platform's development.Launched in February by two former Cint and Lucid execs, Arindam Bhattacharya and Ankesh Saxena, Acutus combines synthetic data, digital twins and AI-driven user personas to help brands, enterprises and researchers to experiment, validate and scale new ideas before real-world deployment.
The new platform allows users to simulate datasets for experiments, benchmarking and proof-of-concept exercises, quickly and flexibly, while maintaining privacy.
Gupta is a software engineer who developed and led AI-based customer engagement company Thrifty - he now takes the title of Product & AI Lead at Acutus, and says he will 'lay the groundwork for the next layer - ZCoded, a simulation engine that will bring synthetic users-in-context and digital twins to life.'
Acutus CEO Arindam Bhattacharya comments, 'With our on-demand synthetic data platform, we will generate synthetic datasets for you - on call, on demand. You've got data, you want to experiment, you want to take it to your client? Give us a sample, we'll generate a synthetic dataset. Let's do a benchmark test and you take it forward. That's the agility we want to bring to research and product innovation.'
The company is on the web at www.acutusai.com .
