US-based Marchex, which combines prescriptive market analytics with conversational intelligence, has launched an Industry Benchmarking feature in the dashboard of its Engage Platform. Benchmarks are industry-specific and are tied to KPIs, to help users prioritise action.The firm, which provides AI-powered conversational intelligence solutions for clients in B2B and B2C markets, says clients have previously used its solutions for analyzing KPIs through historical trend analysis, against internal metrics. Industry Benchmarking allows them to assess metrics such as conversation rate, lead rate, appointment set rate, and customer satisfaction KPIs against peers' performance, based on data from millions of consumer interactions; and review potential areas for performance improvement, in areas such as sales, marketing, strategy and operations.
The solution provides visuals to quickly identify strong, average, or underperforming metrics, and data-driven guidance to support leadership strategy, staffing, and budget allocation decisions.
