Australian agency Lonergan Research has appointed Joan Young, formerly CEO of Colmar Brunton Australia, to lead a new division devoted to behavioural change.Sydney-based Lonergan Research was launched in 2009 by former Galaxy Research Director Chris Lonergan, and offers qual, quant, big data services and an in-house fieldwork team, for both government and commercial clients. The new Behaviour Change Agency will use an evidence-based, independent and outcome-focused approach to help government and not-for-profit organisations influence behaviour and drive measurable impact.
Young recently joined Lonergan Research as Behavioural Strategist, having worked previously as Director of Research & Evaluation with The Behaviour Change Collaborative, MD of Colmar Brunton Social Research and The Social Research Agency, and CEO of Colmar Brunton Australia. Her understanding of both the theoretical and practical applications of behaviour change have earned her an international reputation as a leader in the field, according to Lonergan.
CEO Lonergan states: 'Joan has a track record of measurable change, and through her work she has truly made Australia, and the world, a better place. We're delighted to have her on the team - her skills and experience aree already making a positive difference for our clients, our staff, and our business.'
