In San Francisco, AI-powered CX and customer engagement platform Iterable has appointed Salesforce Tableau CTO Nick Beil as Chief Product Officer, and former SurveyMonkey marketing head Priya Gill as CMO, both starting in November.Iterable helps client companies build deeper customer relationships through personalized, real-time engagement and continuous optimization. In 2021 the firm raised $200m in Series E funding, at a valuation of $2 billion; and last year it launched its third international office, an R&D hub in Lisbon.
Gill brings more than sixteen years of experience working in the technology industry, including five and a half at cloud content management company Box, two and a half at HP and five and a half in two spells at Boeing. She joined SurveyMonkey in 2020 and eighteen months ago was promoted from the role of VP of Product Marketing, Web Strategy and Global Experience to serve as Global Head of marketing. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from UCLA. In her new role, Gill will oversee global marketing strategy, brand development and demand generation.
Beil joins following four years at Salesforce, most recently as Chief Technology Officer for its analytics product Tableau; and previously as SVP and General Manager, Tableau Next. In these positions he played a major role in defining and developing the provision of analytics on the Salesforce platform. Earlier, Beil was President and co-founder of natural language data specialist Narrative Science, which was sold to Salesforce in 2021. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In his new job, he will focus on the strategy and management of all product development and roadmap initiatives, including recently announced agentic intelligence product Iterable Nova.
