European data collection firm Norstat has appointed former Harris Interactive and Dynata researcher Raphaël Clavé as Managing Director of its French business.
Norstat was established in Norway in 1997 and now has a presence throughout the Nordics and Baltic countries, as well as Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland and Ireland. Last month the company launched a digital platform called MyNorstat, offering clients a single access point for real-time survey progress tracking and management, data delivery and analysis; as well as a new digital workspace feature called Norstat Studio.
Clavé (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in the sector, including seven in business development roles at Harris Interactive, and six helping to lead the French office of Dynata, latterly as Country Manager. He joins from BVA where he spent the last two years as Director of Business Development, and has also spent two years apiece at Ipsos and SSI. He replaces Romain Barbet, who has spent the past five years as MD for France and Belgium.
The Group says Norstat France has achieved consistent year-on-year growth, and aims to tap Clavé's 'experience in data collection, his client focus and deep understanding of the local market' to continue the momentum.
Jacob Lagerstedt, the group's Regional Director South, says the French market represents a significant opportunity for the company. He comments: 'I'm very pleased to welcome Raphaël to Norstat France. His energy, commercial approach and passion for data collection make him a natural fit as we expand our presence and continue to deliver sample-only, full-service, and innovative digital solutions to all our clients.'
