Alchemer Upgrades Pulse AI Insights Platform

December 10 2025

In Louisville, Colorado, survey and CX tech company Alchemer has extended its Pulse AI-powered insights automation platform, adding features that transforms open-text customer feedback 'from anywhere' into actionable intelligence.

Ryan TammingaFounded in 2006 as SurveyGizmo, Alchemer is a KKR portfolio company and provides survey, workflow, audience, communication and analysis tools, integrated into common business systems across the enterprise, helping companies to collect and act upon feedback from their customers and employees. It also now offers full service research via a team called Alchemer Research Solutions.

Alchemer Pulse was launched last year and brings together free-form customer feedback from multiple sources including surveys, reviews, ratings from the App Store and Google Play, social media and support tickets. The tool promises insights and ideas 'difficult to uncover in a structured survey' by quickly identifying and quantifying consistent themes and presenting them via dashboard interfaces. By using a stable, business-specific theme model for its trend-tracking, the software promises consistent, in-context results.

New features, available to all customers from Q1 2026, include Observations, which allows users to dive deeper into individual themes to uncover nuanced customer phrases revealing specific pain points and emerging trends; Highlights - executive-level reporting that automatically summarizes key findings; and an ask-the-data natural language conversational AI interface for instant, 'context-rich' answers.

Ryan Tamminga (pictured), the firm's SVP Customer Success and Product, says Pulse 'gives organizations the clarity they need by uncovering the 'why' behind customer and employee feedback, transforming unstructured comments into meaningful, contextual and secure intelligence.' He adds: 'This is AI with purpose, built to empower faster decisions, stronger relationships and measurable business outcomes.'
