Audience measurement company VideoAmp says CEO Peter Liguori is stepping down from the role today, after just six months, to be replaced by Tony Fagan, most recently company President and earlier its CTO.
The firm says the promotion of Fagan (pictured) positions it for a future based on 'deep technical leadership and a strong understanding of customer outcomes.'
VideoAmp, which is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York with offices across the US, was founded in 2014 as a platform for buying, measuring and optimizing digital video ads, and in the last few years has ramped up its services as a cross-platform measurement currency competing with Nielsen. A month ago the company added two new board members, former IHS Markit execs Jonathan Gear and Sari Granat.
Liguori has been a member of the Board for more than five years and remains on it. He was Executive Chairman before taking the CEO role just six months ago. His tenure has seen the company double down on relationships across the publisher and agency ecosystem.
Under Fagan's leadership, VideoAmp says it will accelerate investment in agentic AI and intelligent optimization technologies to help drive measurable results in an increasingly complex media landscape.
'As VideoAmp turns the page to its next, exciting AI chapter,' says Liguori, 'I can think of no one more qualified to lead the company into the agentic future than Tony Fagan. I look forward to supporting him on this exciting journey.'
